Del Norte Animal Clinic is very proud of the fact that we have been an accredited AAHA member since 1968. Only 12—15% of the small animal facilities in North America can claim the distinction.

Unlike human hospitals, not all animal hospitals are required to be accredited. To be an accredited AAHA hospital member, our hospital must meet the Association’s high standards for quality veterinary care, which is above and beyond basic state and federal regulations. Our hospital is regularly evaluated on over 900 quality standards by trained AAHA professionals to ensure that we provide the best veterinary care we can. AAHA standards are continuously reviewed and updated to keep accredited practices on the cutting edge of veterinary excellence.
