Our doctors and the rest of the veterinary team are passionate and dedicated animal lovers who place your pet’s health and well-being above anything else!
Dr. Stephanie Kern, DVM
Dr. Kern is a 2013 Colorado State graduate. She is a New Mexico native and, like the other two veterinarians at Del Norte, worked as a technician under Dr. Livingstone for many years prior to completing her veterinary degree. Rejoining the team feels like coming home, and she is excited to serve the Del Norte family. Her professional interests include dentistry, general surgery, dermatology, and critical care. Dr. Kern lives with her husband, three children, two dogs, one cat, and four horses. Outside of work, she enjoys horse and dog sports, running, and gardening.
Dr. David Williams, DVM
Dr. Williams was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM. He attended the University of New Mexico before pursuing his DVM at Colorado State University and is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Williams started working at Del Norte Animal Clinic in high school as part of a mentorship program and worked at Del Norte for seven years as an assistant. Dr. Williams has numerous interests within veterinary medicine, including preventative medicine, dentistry, hospice, and client education. In his spare time, he enjoys doing all things outdoors, including mountain biking. Dr. Williams has three cats and one dog that take up the majority of his attention, as well as a lovely fiancé who is also a veterinarian. Although Dr. Williams enjoys traveling, he never sees himself living anywhere other than New Mexico.
Dr. Eva Sehrt, DVM
Dr. Eva Sehrt is an Albuquerque native who attended UNM as an undergraduate. Prior to veterinary school, Dr. Sehrt worked at Del Norte as an assistant in Dr. Livingstone’s pre-vet training program. After graduation from Colorado State University, she had the wonderful opportunity to come full circle and return to Del Norte as a doctor. As a veterinarian, Dr. Sehrt works each and every day to provide comfort and care to her patients and offer options and guidance to her clients. Dr. Sehrt loves dogs, has a special place in her heart for cats, and looks forward to meeting you and your fur family.
Adriana Gonzales
Adriana has been in veterinary medicine since 2020 and prides herself in being part of the process of keeping pets cared for and loved. It is such a gratifying feeling for her, knowing that she contributed to helping sick or healthy pets. In her free time, Adriana loves to hike, read, make jewelry, and spend time with her pets, Mila, Kylo, and Opal.
Marlo Lucero
Marlo has been in veterinary medicine since 2005. She takes an interest in the similarities found between animals and humans as well as educating clients. In her free time, Marlo enjoys spending time with her family.
Celea Herrera
Celea joined our team in 2022 but has been in veterinary medicine since 2020. She is a certified assistant and graduated from Pima Medical institute. Celea loves working with all of our patients and to provide excellent care. Celea is an animal lover for sure, she stays busy outside of work with all of her fur babies: 2 dogs, 2 ferrets, 2 cats and a rabbit!
Ryan G. Laws-Watts
Manager
With over 14 years of experience in the veterinary field and more than 5 years in leadership roles, Ryan G. Laws-Watts brings a deep passion for operational excellence, team development, and compassionate animal care. Currently serving as Clinic Manager for Del Norte he strives to uphold a 60-year legacy of clinical excellence while driving innovation.
Ryan’s leadership journey spans a diverse array of practice settings—from high-volume emergency clinics to single-doctor general practices. He has successfully led teams in Texas and New Mexico, building cohesive cultures, and optimizing workflows. His operational leadership has consistently delivered results, including improved client retention, enhanced staff satisfaction, and streamlined processes.
With a Master of Health Administration from Louisiana State University and a bachelor’s in chemistry from New Mexico State University, Ryan blends clinical insight with business acumen.
Ryan is particularly passionate about preserving the heart of veterinary practices—the culture—while implementing systems that allow teams to thrive. His hands-on experience as a technician and team lead informs his empathetic leadership style, and his commitment to quality care and service excellence continues to elevate the practices he leads.
